3 Weeks Old!

Emmanuelle was not gaining enough weight at her last doctor's visit, so this week we worked very hard on gaining weight. I am very happy to tell you that as of Friday she had finally passed her birth weight and is now 8lb 14oz and is doing very well.


This week we had a lot of first! We went to the grocery store for the first time...and learned that we have to shop quickly and time it well or else we have a total melt down on the way back home. We also had lots of visitors, including Pat, as well as Chris, Ashley, and Schuyler. We also visited the clinic where I work. All the ladies at work had been waiting for a long time to finally meet Emmanuelle. The umbilical cord finally fell off and we were able to give her a real bath, which she totally seemed to love.
