Ariadne, Emma and Claude in Utah!

For almost two years now my mom and I were trying to plan a trip just us two but with everything that happened in the last two years it made impossible. Now was the perfect time. So we took Emmanuelle and headed to Utah to hike Zion park and Bryce canyon.

First we went to Zion park, where the canyons and cliffs were majestic and so impressive. The views from the top were awesome. We did one of the hardest hike I had ever done...a great way to start losing my pregnacy weight. Then we made our way to Bryce canyon to observe these incredible rock formations that they call hoodoos. This canyon of hoodoos is surreal. We hiked everyday for at least 3-4 hours with Emmanuelle in the baby carrier. She was such good trooper about it. She mostly slept during everything. By the end of the week we noticed a little trend, she would always wake up about 30 min before we were done, and of course she would wake up starving. So we had some breastfeeding pit stops and diaper changes in the most interesting places but with always fabulous views. Emmanuelle was so good during the hikes but after being stuck in either a car seat or the baby carrier for 6-7 hours she would let us know that it was time to go back to the hotel so she could happilly play on the bed and move her little legs around.

Having the 3 generations of girls hiking together was so much fun and so many good memories were made. Hopefully we will be able to do it again.
