I have had a blog crisis, if you can call it that. I wondered why I was writing/doing this because, other than the 2 grand mothers, I am not sure who read this... And then I realized I was blogging not to attract lots of readers (because really who cares about our little adventures and life), a little bit for the grand mothers of course ;), but mostly for me! This blog is a way for me to express myself in a different way but mostly it is a way for me to remember all the wonderful moments we are living.
One of my biggest fear is to not remember all the little things, all their firsts, all the little smiles, their little voices, their funny dress up days... I want to remember that...
- Lucas is loving all balls and points them out in books
- Emma is obsessed with dresses. She will only wear dresses and has not worn pants in months
- Lucas loves books, he will take a book (most of the time it is the big Elmo book that we have) and in a very intrusive kind of way will impose himself on your lap and demand your read the book to him
- Emma is even more obsessed with shoes and put her shoes on the moment she wakes up and they must be "princess" shoes
- Lucas loves to give hugs... to really anybody that will take it. The girls at daycare think he is so cute and all want hugs from Lucas all the time
- Emma still loves to dance and sing any chance she gets. In the fall, when she is old enough, she will be taking dance class
- Lucas is still tiny but eats like a man. He loves yogurt and all fruits and will only eat with a spoon or fork by himself (no fingers)
- Emma is really good at her tricycle and will peddle all the way to the park
- Lucas gets into the funniest sleeping position at night...usually with his head stuffed in the corner and legs on top of the bumper pillow
- Emma decided one day that she would not wear diapers anymore and basically has been dry since
- Lucas has the cutest smile and laugh...that will melt anybody's heart
- Emma has been saying "I love you" to her Papa every night for months but had never said it to me...until this past week, when, out of no where and very honestly, she gave me a big hug and kiss and said "I love you mommy"...ah the best feeling ever!
This blog and pictures will let me remember!

You'll be glad you kept a blog on their development with comments and pictures. Years from now you can look back at this and be able to tell when they first walked or told you they loved you or sang songs in the bathtub. I am so glad you are doing it, since it makes me feel more connected to your lives. I love all of you.
Mom
Ariadne, I love reading your blog. Its great to know what you and Jeff and the kiddos are up to. Hook 'em!
I love this Ariadne!!! I've been on a blog hiatus myself, but have a running narrative of "things to remember". Well, that vault is getting pretty full... time to get it posted. Because it is mostly for us mamas! Love you!
Also, I can't believe how big the babes are... and how much they are both spitting images of you & Jeff. So adorable!
Salut mon amie! J'adore ton blog...tu me fais pleurer à chaque fois!! J'ai très hâte de vous revoir toute la famille. À bientôt!kxxxx
