Thanksgiving

We had so much to be thankful for this year and of course at the top of that list was our little girl, Emma. We had such a great Thanksgiving this year!!! Our friends, Melanie, David, and their 2 year old daughter Marika, came to visit to experience a real American Thanksgiving. So we had to live up to their expectations... We started the weekend with the traditional Turkey trot. The boys ran and the girls walked. Then we headed to Austin for the Texas vs. Texas A&M football game. We had only found 2 tickets so we decided that the guys would go and the girls would watch it on TV and on our way to Austin our friends that we were going to meet up with ended up having 2 extra tickets and so we all went. It was awesome!!! And we won!!! The next day we headed back to Dallas, stopped for a little shopping and then met up with Jeff's family for our big Thanksgiving bird. The weekend was so exausted but totally worth it.

On another note, I went back to work full time this past week and Jeff had a conference in Las Vegas all week. The single mom experience was not easy but we survived. Emmanuelle is now rolling over on her stomach every chance she gets but then gets stuck on her stomach and does not really seem to know what to do and then gets frustrated, so we put her back on her stomach...and this can go on for hours.
