It has been a while since the last blog and we have been busy. First my father came to visit for 2 weeks and made Emma laugh a lot. It was nice to have him over for that long. Emma really had fun with him on their daily walks...even if they got lost sometimes!!! During that time I had my birthday, it was the first time in 12 years that I spend my birthday with my family and it was fun. Then my friend Berangere came to visit for a long weekend. Since Jeff was busy studying for his test, we had a very girly weekend. We cooked, talked a lot, got our nails done, went to lunch (I had my first alcoholic drink in more than 1 year), and we went to see all the blooming flowers at the Arboretum. Then this weekend we went to cheer on my mother running her first 1/2 marathon .... GO MOM!!! She finished in a fast 2:26!!!In the mean time, Emmanuelle has started to crawl. She is so incredibly cute! She is still learning that she can move forward and it is just a matter of time before she gets some speed and gets in everything. We also took her to the pool for a swim for the first time. We were so happy to find out that she loved it. She splashed and kicked around. Jeff is convinced that she is a natural born breast stroker!
