I was looking at old pictures of Emma when she was 6 months old to see how Lucas and her compare and they have me wondering.

Wondering... At 6 months, Emma was 19 lbs and 28.5 inches. Lucas is 15 lbs and 26.5 inches. How can they be so different? Is Lucas too small??? Or will Emma be a giant???
Wondering... They change so so so fast! Will I remember their little smiles years from now? Will I remember all the special moments??? Will I remember Lucas' face when he got on all fours for the first time, or the way it sounded when Emma said "maman" for the first time???
Wondering... Will Emma always enjoy dancing in the rain??? I hope she never looses her free spirit!

Wondering... What could he be dream of??? And when will he start sleeping all night??? And could he be anymore beautiful???

Wondering... How on earth could I live without them in my life????

They grow at different rates, so it certainly doesn't mean Lucas will be short and Emma a giant. Girls adult height is usually twice their height at 18 months, while Boys height is doubled at 24 months. Chris was bigger than Jeff at the same ages, although maybe not taller. Obviously Lucas has long arms and legs, so I think his body is focusing on growing long bones right now. The pediatrician in Lompoc had good advice: don't compare them. They aren't the same person.
