The highlight of our October was the visit of Jeff's mother (aka grandma). She was able to come and stay with us for 10 days. Emma and Lucas loved having her here...well we all did of course! But it was nice to see them interact. The timing was perfect for her to help make Emma's Halloween costume.... a very cute white chicken...who are we kidding she didn't just help she made the entire costume by herself! And Emma was the cutest chicken ever (see for yourself when you click on the pictures)!!!! Thanks Grandma
While Grandma was here we also took her apple picking (our fifth time this fall, but who's counting) and we also picked some squash. We had squash every night after that! We also went to see a chinese lantern exhibit and pumpkin decoration contest, both were very cool. We went to the park, walked at Mont-Royal, went to Ste-Emelie to visit with my parents, and walked every day. We did not want her to get bored! We had lots of fun and can't wait for her to visit again...or for us to go visit them in Texas.
On another note... we had our first snow here!!! It happened the day before Halloween and its been getting really chilly. After being in the south for almost 15 years, my blood had gotten pretty warm! But we are so excited about our first winter in Canada!!! Come on snow we are ready for you!
Since it had been a while since our last post you will see that I have LOTS of pictures to share. Just click on the above picture and it will take you more picture...enjoy!

I love your entries so we can keep up with how the kids are changing. I was so surprised at how much they had both grown, physically and socially. When you left Dallas, Lucas was just a tiny baby, and now he is walking around furniture and speed crawling. The photos are beautiful! Of course you have good subjects.
