3 years old!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Emma's 3rd birthday! I can't even believe that it was 3 years ago that she entered our world...and forever changed our life! We toasted to Emma ... and to us for making it 3 years;)

We had her birthday party at the Agriculture Museum (it's really just a big farm) and she had 6 little friends that came to celebrate. The two grand mothers were also part of all the fun! The morning was great!! We got to see, pet, brush, feed all the farm animals. The kids even got to make icecream! After the icream tasting we had some fun farm animal cupcakes (that the grand mothers and myself had lots of fun making the night before).

As we were walking by the dairy cows and making our ways to the calves... We (Jeff adn my mom) witnessed one of the cow was going into labor. We informed the guide and she paniced a little and called the vet. We of course all rushed to see the action (about 20 people)...she got a little shy I think. They moved the cow into the maternity wing. We continued our tour and got the call a little later that the new calve had come. A healthy big male calve came in the world about 3 weeks early... and we all felt like he was ours in some ways! We all rushed to see him and he was a beauty!!!

Emma had been talking about her birthday for weeks and was so looking forward to it... I was little nervous that the day would not live up to her expectations...but it did!!! First she had a birthday at daycare, then we had a birthday at our house with us and present, and finally on her actual birthday she had the birthday party at the farm with all her friends. She loved every moment of it!
