This past weekend we had lots of thunder storms, a full moon, walked about 3-4 miles each day, and ate some spicy foods to try to trigger something... but still nothing. All of our efforts did not seem to influence the baby in any way. We went to the doctor this morning and nothing new since last Friday (still only 1 cm dialated and the baby is still high). So the plan is that we will go back to the doctor on Thursday afternoon to check the status again and if there is no new development we will be going to the hospital to get the cervidil, which needs 12 hours to act, and get induced on Friday morning. Of course, that's only if the baby does not decide to surprise everyone and come before Thursday. We are so excited about the arrival of our new addition but mostly we are excited about finally seeing his or her little face and finally finding out if it is a she or a he. But most importantly we want to make sure that he or she is well and healthy.
The picture above is from our long time family friend, Andre Pijet, who always had a funny touch to life's unexpected moment. Thank you Andre for the little touch of humor.

The unusually cool weather seems specially ordered to make your last week of pregnancy more comfortable. Perhaps you should also be pampered at a salon, as the painting suggests! We love you both, and look forward to the birth of our blessed grandbaby.
She's so cut ! Congratulations for both of you !!! We wish you happiness and wonder for the next days, months and years… Enjoy every moment with her because they grow quickly…
Take care :o)
