So today was the official due date and still no baby. I went to my doctor's appointment today to be told that I was still only 1 cm dialated and the baby was still very high. We did a stress test to be sure that everything was going well in there. And as my doctor said, the baby seems very happy in there. I will go back on Monday morning to check for any progress and another stress test to make sure that we are still happy. And if the baby has not come out to finally greet us by then we will be going to the hospital on Thursday to get cervidel (to soften my cervix) and then get induced on Friday. My mom has come in town to spend some time with the baby, but she will have to settle for hanging out with Jeff, the dogs, and I . We have been walking everyday since she got here...in the hopes that it would trigger something. I guess we have more walking ahead of us...the dogs sure do not mind at all!

It looks like the baby wants to stay in the comfort of your womb a little longer, feeling secure with Mommy. It's better for the baby to be late than to be early, and Claude can extend her ticket, so hang in there!

Look at the two photos ! Her belly is definitely lower. Guess what? this baby is coming... Taking it's time like that, it must be a boy. Tomorrow is a full moon, some people say it helps and the doctor in Atlanta told Ariadne there are more births when there is a storm. Well, stormy weather for the next 5days in Dallas. So we are going to see taht baby...soon.
Can't blame that baby for wanting to stay, Ariadne! You've been taking such good care of it. :) Can't wait to meet...him...her...such an exciting time!
Sounds like the little one really likes it in there....Maybe if you tell him/her about the really cool nursery it gets when it comes out....You seem to be handling it well, hang in there! I'm sure the full moon will help!
