Emmanuelle Marie Livingston

This is our first blog after delivering a beautiful baby girl! Although there have been some small complications, the baby and mommy are doing great. Ariadne started getting contractions at 12:00am on Wednesday, and 36 hours later, Emma was born!

As you can imagine, Ariadne and Emmanuelle were pretty tired when she came into the world at 8:51am CT on Thursday August 21st at 21.5" , 8lbs 12oz.
Unfortunatley, it seems Emma had some respiratory problems, and may have caught some pneumonia during the birth. But she is in great hands, and has been making quick progress. We are still in the hospital, but Ariadne is already breast feeding and Emma's respiration now looks great. Emma will probably come home this coming Thursday, and we are very excited. Thank you to everyone for their prayers and support. Its been wonderful having the support from Claude, my parents and Chris and Ashley so close by.

Well, its time to go down stairs and feed the little one... Click on the picture to see some pictures. I will be posting pictures with the rest of the family and grandparents later on... I'll keep Y'all updated...

On a funnier note... My old teammate from the highschool days, Nathan Porter; had his baby boy Dominick James Porter on August 21st, 8:55CT at 21.5", 8lbs 8oz
