This Christmas was very special. As my belly is getting bigger and bigger and they would probably charge me for 2 seats on the plane, we decided to stay here for Christmas and my mom, dad and brother, all came to celebrate with us. We had a rocky start as Jeff and my mom got sick on the first day and then my brother and dad got sick the following day with the same stomach flu. Somehow Emmanuelle and I escaped the stomach bug and felt fine the entire time!
Jeff and I really enjoy having a white Christmas and so the years that we end up not going to Canada it always seems like Christmas is missing a little something. Well not this year...since it SNOWED in Dallas for Christmas eve!!!! It was so beautiful and magical!!! We celebrated our traditional Christmas eve by going to church, having a great meal and unwrapping presents. On Christmas day we had all of Jeff's family over for dinner and celebrated some more...the more the merrier!!! It was great to watch Emma with all the celebrations. This year, Emma was old enough to unwrap present by herself and really enjoy the presents. She would unwrap a present and play with that present and was interested in unwrapping more after that, so we kept some presents for the following morning and night....so Christmas was extra long long this year!!!
We were not very good this year about taking pictures and only have a few of Christmas to show you. New year's resolution... #1. take more pictures, #2. take more videos (with our new Camcorder that Santa brought us!!!), #3. update the blog more often, #4. get back in shape as fast as possible after this pregnancy.
Wishing everyone a fantastic year 2010 filled with happiness and joy!
