Winter Wonderland in Dallas TX

Over the past 24 hours we got some snow here in Dallas Tx. Actually we got 12.5 inches in 24 hours. The most snow in over 100 years. I was just like a little girl who is waiting for her first snow of the season....so excited!!! The snow was so white and very sticky...perfect for snowmen! People of all ages were out playing and making snow creatures all over the city. It was such a pretty picture.

Emma was not too sure about all that white stuff covering her outside toys. The dogs were super excited about it!!!

I know you are all waiting for the post with the big announcement and precious pictures of the new addition....but he/she is not here yet...and there's no signs he/she is coming anytime soon. At my last doctor's visit I was not even 1 cm dialated, and I missed my appointment today due to the snow. Our next visit should be Monday or Tuesday (the due date). I am feeling great but on some occasions I am feeling very very pregnant (I guess that's expected!). So stay tuned, it really could happen any day and time!

Eventhough Emma is too young to understand what is about to happen and how it will change our world, we have been telling her that soon she will have a real baby, we show her the baby room, the baby car seat. She of course thinks it is for her "baby" (the doll). In the last couple of weeks she really has started imitating us and playing pretend. She changes her baby's diapers and then will throw them out in the garbage saying "poopie". She feeds her babies with a little spoon, puts make believe water in their bottles, puts them to bed, puts them in their booster seat, and takes them for walks in their stroller around the house. She has a real motherly instinct that is so beautiful to see. She will make a great big sister!!!
