I finally caught it on camera...and then couldn't stop capturing the most beautiful little smile you have ever seen. Lucas continues to be the perfect baby. In addition to smiling, he can now hold his head! He makes it very obvious every day that he needs his hour of freedom, where nobody holds him and is not in the bouncer chair or car seat, and he can kick his little legs around. He also has started to be a little more vocal and is charming us with all his goos and gaas.
Since the last update, Emmanuelle has had her first black eye, grew a shoe size, got one more tooth, learned a few more words, is totally obsess with swings and going to the park, loves her dog and Elmo book, has been named the cheese monster, continues to carry her baby everywhere, doesn't walk to places but always runs, helped me plant a new flower bed, totally goes bazooke when we go to Central Market (a local fancy grocery store) because she knows she will get their free balloon, loves to point out all the different body parts, picks out her hair bow/barrette every morning, and is forever wanting to be a little independent girl. In the last 6 months, she went from being a "baby" to being a toddler. She has changed so much!!! Physically is now looks like a little girl (partly because her hair finally grew), and mentally she wants to do everything by herself and is definite about what she wants.
