Lucas is 4 months old

It is hard to believe that this little boy has been with us for 4 months already... but in many ways it seems like he has been here for much longer. We are on our way to having the little family we always wanted and having so much fun with every step.

At 4 months Lucas...
  • is an easy baby...smiles when he is happy and cries when he is not
  • smiles to who ever will smile at him
  • still nurses every 2-3 hours...sometimes he will sleep for 5 hours at night!
  • is rolling over. Actually he started rolling over at 3 months and 1 weeks, exactly like Emma did. Emma rolled over from her back to stomach and was stuck there for weeks, Lucas figured it out in no time and rolls from his back to his stomach to his back again.
  • loves his big sister, eventhough she is rough with him at times
  • loves to take walks
  • loves to watch Mickey mouse club already
  • laughs out loud when we do exercises
  • still wears 3-6 months...and the waist is still very very loose
  • Has blue-grey eyes, just like his daddy
  • is just wondeful!!!

Not to undermine any of Lucas' achievements, but Emma is growing so fast and getting to be such a big girl that I have to mention some of the stuff she is doing too.

  • Her speech has taken off! She is a blabbing machine. Still says words in English, or French, or Spanish only but she does understand everything we tell her in either language.
  • She loves to watch Tennis and claps whenever they score. She also loves to watch the Mickey mouse clubhouse and dance the "hotdog" dance.
  • She loves her baby and will take that doll anywhere we go. She often feeds her, changes her diaper, lets her talk on the phone, pushes her around in the stroller, gives her highfives, and puts her to bed.
  • Emma loves to help me make muffins in the morning.
  • One of her favorite thing is to go to the park and swing. She can be in the swing for hours.
  • After saying NO for the past 8 months, she finally is saying OUI!
  • She has such a good and fun personality and a very good sense of humour already... It is so much fun to see her grow up!!!
